As an only child I missed the experience of having a sister. I wished for one though and am blessed to have two girls, through which I see glimpses of what it might have been like. They fight, laugh, cry and ignore each other in equal measure. They play games that generally involve them pretending to be dogs ,or mummies and babies, crawling around the floor or being pushed in buggies. They can argue about anything and I do mean anything… But I will find them 5 minutes later curled up together watching TV or doing each others hair. They could watch the Wizard of Oz over and over, singing the words to the songs and then hiding under blankets during the ‘scary’ bit with the flying monkeys. They have a special relationship and whilst they do have a brother thrown into the mix as well, their bond is unique and I as I watch them grow together I am thankful every day for what I get to experience through them.
