I love cats…   I love the mild indifference they show to their owners, which by definition doesn’t actually mean much, as I am not entirely sure anyone ever ‘owns’ a cat.  In my experience they basically go to whomever provides food and shelter and being tremendously fickle will move quite happily from one abode to another without a backward glance.  I like this, at this point in my life I don’t want a pet that depends on me for everything, I like being snubbed occasionally, it suits me.

Not being accustomed to photographing creatures with four legs I decided it was time to give it a try.  I found this cat and wanted to try and capture it’s serenity and calm.
